Back in December 2009 we announced the entry of Temple 6 into the National Mark Twain Masonic Award, and we promised to provide you with information updates as they became available . . . well, in March of 2010 during the Conference of Grandmasters of Masons in North America (Alexandria, VA), the Masonic Information Center (MIC) announced 18 winners of the 2009 Mark Twain Award. Unfortunately, Temple 6 was not one of the lodges selected for this national award.
Though our entry was well received by the MIC; it didn’t quite meet the threshold needed to receive the MTMAA for 2009. But Temple 6 was strongly encouraged by the MIC to once again participate in this year’s MTMAA.
Any ideas or suggestions from our brethren on how we can improve upon our 2009 entry (available at the lodge for review) would be most helpful and welcomed.
Temple 6 looks forward to this years award with a new submission to the MIC by December and we will keep each of you informed on any news that comes our way.
