Brethren,
The Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta at the University of New Mexico is hosting the Third Annual Phi Gamma Delta Starr Kircher Cancer Awareness Ball, which benefits the University of New Mexico Cancer Research Center. This event will take place at the Albuquerque Marriott Pyramid on May 6, 2011, and will include a formal dinner and dance. This year, we look forward to raising at least twenty-thousand dollars to support the UNM Cancer Center, which in turn supports local patients who otherwise would not be able to afford cancer treatment. The members of Phi Gamma Delta ask that you please consider contributing to this charitable cause by offering donations of any size that your company would be willing to give.
We realize that many Americans have been affected in some way or another by the economic hardship of the recession, and we understand that it is often difficult to donate in times of uncertainty. Nevertheless, Phi Gamma Delta would like to remind you that every contribution helps, no matter the size. We are willing to accommodate those who have the desire to reach out and make a difference, but who just do not have the financial flexibility to contribute in the form of cash. As we will be holding a raffle and silent auction at the event, any items that you or your company could provide would be greatly appreciated.
We feel that this project is mutually beneficial to all parties involved because it generates the necessary funds that allow the UNM Cancer Center to keep its doors open, and facilitates cancer awareness in order to promote prevention and early diagnosis. Additionally, you will be publicly recognized and your organization will be promoted in one or more ways throughout the event, depending on your contribution. Phi Gamma Delta thanks you for your consideration and we appreciate anything you can do to help us make this charitable event a success.
If I can answer any questions or provide you with additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Fraternally,
Brother Erik Argo
